What is TeoFutures?

We are a Florida Corporation incorporated in 2005. At the moment we only offer advisory on the option markets. 

How secure is my money?

You need to open an account with a brokerage firm. All brokerage firms are SIPC insured, which means your money is insured up to $500,000 of which $100,000 is in cash. Additionally, many firms have other type of insurance to protect their clients from fraud or bankruptcies. Remember that you are not opening an account with TeoFutures, and we don’t have access to your money.

Do you guarantee a return?

No, we don’t. There is no way to guarantee a return because you are speculating on a price move. The only way to guarantee a return is to know for sure what the price for a particular stock or option is going to be in the future. We study the markets and make what we consider the best assumptions regarding where the price of a stock will be during the day, but of course we can’t be 100% sure.

Do I need a dedicated account only for this type of trading?

We prefer that our clients open an account specially for trading options with TeoFutures. In order for us to be able to trade in your account, you have to sign a limited power of attorney that aloud us to enter trades on your behalf. It is better for both parties to have that limited power of attorney for only this account.

How many positions are open at once?

Only one, and usually is worth less than $8,000. You will never use margin in your account. Also remember that not every day there will be a trade in your account.

Do you limit your membership size?

Yes, we reserve the right to close the service at any time to new clients.  In the future we might need to close this service to new accounts if we are not able to provide the best service to our existing clients. Also, if we start noticing problems with executing trades because of high volumes, then we will have to close this service to new accounts. 

Can I be a client if I live outside the US?

Yes, but in that case you will need to open an account with Interactive Brokers.  Many brokerage firms in the US don’t accept international clients.  Also, as an international client, you will need a valid passport with picture and some other type of identification in order to open an account.
